Owl Pillow Christmas

Kim over at Spoonflower got creative this holiday season with home made gifts for her girls. She used this free downloadable owl pattern that I did for Robert Kaufman upon the release of the On A Whim fabric line. Aren't they sweet?

Hi Amy,

I used to work as an illustrator at American Greetings and remember your name from your freelance work I would see from time to time. I always loved your work. Your blog is great–I find blogs really help me feel connected now that I'm on my own (almost 2 years now).

Anyways, do you know one of your books is featured on the www.weheartbooks.com blog right now? I've started frequenting that blog since they've done some reviews of my book as well...they seem like such nice ladies. Congrats on the lovely review! I'll have to look for that book next time I'm at the bookstore.

Wow, I can't believe I found the creator of these amazing pillows! This pattern was one of the very first items I ever featured on my website, Kids ~ Stuff ~ World. It's also been a real motivation for me to kick my sewing skills into high gear. I have visions of a purple print/corduroy owl that are destined for my daughter.

I'll be doing a post on your new fabric line soon (I love it). I just forward the Moose & Friends to a friend of mine for use in her Mother Nature themed nursery. I just know she'll love it.

Thank you so much for all of your efforts and hard work. I really enjoy your style
