Forest Fun Sneak Peek

Finally, I can show you a glimpse of the new Forest Fun fabric collection with Robert Kaufman. Fabrics are on their way and will be shipped to stores in January...just around the corner. Please stay tuned for a special giveaway... free Christmasy presents for some of you Red Fish Circle blog readers including a package of Forest Fun critter pins - I will be adding a yard of fabric along with the pins to three different people... But I have to get the fabrics in my hungry little hands first, so please be patient... any day now. I will officially post about the giveaway when the fabrics arrive. There will also be some projects available on the Kaufman site, some really cool stuff, yay!

The collection is six prints in two yummy colorways. Two of the prints are a color remix of the stripes and dots from the Creatures and Critters group.

I am totally diggin' this wintery blue palette. What d'ya think?

This fabric is based on a Forest illustration I did for Oopsy Daisy -

The original illustration-

And this fabric was inspired by my other Oopsy Daisy owl canvas -

Here is the original owl illustration-

I sure hope you will like the new fabrics!

I spy so man wonderful things that I could make with this fabric! The first thing I saw with big goofy fish. The blue dots would be perfect! The owls are so wonderful on their own and I imaged would make great quilting pillow cases. Can't wait to see. Do you know when stock may make it to Australia?

Yay for the new collection! It's super cute.

Unfortunately, my store tends to be a few months behind everyone else, so I probably won't see these in real life until March or so. :( Maybe I'll have to remind the buyer how well the last collection sold... ;)

Love the new fabrics. I was just at John Lewis, London yesterday and saw the pink snail print. Really cute. I said to my friend, "Hey, that's Amy's fabric!" She looked at me like I was insane. Oh well. It was great to recognize fabrics from your blog.

Jennifer said...

Yay-I'm excited! Love the new fabrics!!

Red Fish Circle said...

Thanks again, just curious Holly, does John Lewis sell fabric? or were the snails on a product? That is great to think of them sitting in a store in London:) Thanks for letting me know.

Heather said...

They are wonderful, I especially love the owls.

I'm guessing that we'll be able to get them in the UK if John Lewis has other fabric of yours. Hope so!

I found you via True Up
